Lund University Protein Production Platform (LP3)
Lund University
Lund Protein Production Platform, LP3, is a cross-faculty center of Lund University for protein production, purification, characterization, crystallization and structure determination. LP3 contributes actively to the interaction of Lund University with MAX IV laboratory, ESS and other research facilities, networks and initiatives. LP3 is harboring a node of the national research infrastructure Protein Production Sweden (PPS). LP3 partners in the FragMAX platform, the fragment-screening platform of the MAX IV laboratory located at LP3 and the BioMAX X-ray crystallography beamline. DEMAX and LP3 collaborate to coordinate their efforts to develop cost-effective production of deuterated biomaterials (lipids and proteins) for neutron-based methods.
